Agriturismo near Pisa

Pisa is of course famous for its leaning tower. But it has a lot more to be discovered. In the city, on the beach, and in the countryside. Are you looking for a luxury, comfortable agriturismo near Pisa? Plenty of choice with My Italy. I – Margot – have personally visited and carefully selected these agriturismos. So you can trust my selection.

Holidaying in luxury and comfort, in quiet surroundings

Pisa is popular with tourists from all over the world. Are you looking for peace and quiet after an eventful day? An agriturismo is ideal for that. You will be staying on a farm in the countryside, in luxurious accommodation. Most of these farms produce wine or olive oil, some make cheese or jam, and produce honey. Enjoy the silence, sun and lovely food. Because most agriturismos are situated in quiet countryside, a car is indispensable. You don’t fancy a long drive to your holiday destination? Then take a plane to Pisa, and rent a car there.

Pisa as your destination

As we said the leaning tower of Pisa is world famous! It really does lean spectacularly! But Pisa has a lot more to offer. At least as interesting is the medieval Duomo di Santa Maria Assunta, together with the marvellous Baptistery. Walking into the city, you will be amazed by the historic streets and buildings, with bustling restaurants, shops and cafés. Pisa is surrounded by flat countryside. To see the characteristic Tuscan hills, you have to head further inland.

Close to lovely beaches

Beach fans too will be happy with an agriturismo near Pisa. There are lovely sandy beaches in the vicinity. At the bathing resort of Viareggio, for instance (ideal for families), or closer by: Marina di Pisa. Another beautiful seaside town is Forte dei Marmi, a luxury resort for the jet set. Italian beaches usually have beach pavilions where one can rent sun loungers and parasols. Or choose one of the free beaches. Also great for a long walk beside the sea.

An agriturismo near Pisa

I have selected several agriturismos that are close to Pisa and the sea. Or would you prefer an agriturismo in the hills? You could, for instance, choose an agriturismo near Volterra.
