Welcoming and charming agriturismo in Piedmont

This charming agriturismo is situated only 2 km from Barolo and circa 10km from the famous town of Alba, amidst the vineyards of Barolo in Piedmont. A "golden-oldie", because this is one of the first agriturismo's which I have posted on my site.

On the farm they produce wine and homemade cherry and apricot jam. There is no restaurant at the agriturismo, but a communal kitchen that guests can use. Often guests cook and eat together. On request the agriturismo also organizes cooking classes and if the weather is nice you can use the barbecue in the garden of the agriturismo. There is no swimming pool, but there is a jacuzzi in the garden.

For those who prefer to eat out there are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity of the agriturismo. In the reception there are brochures and business cards from various restaurants nearby and the friendly owner is happy to give you tips and addresses.

Rooms

The agriturismo has six rooms, 1 with a small kitchenette. All rooms are simply but nicely furnished and they all look out onto the garden. From the rooms on the ground floor you can walk into the garden of the old farmhouse. Breakfast is served in the dining room or - if the weather is nice - on the terrace in the garden.

In short

This is a simple but very charming agriturismo. Not least by the hospitality and friendliness of the owner of the agriturismo.
