Great Sicilian hospitality and sea views!

The friendly owner received me with open arms and a cappuccino and a fresh cornetto (croissant). That was already a good start! He told me about the history of his farmhouse and took the time to show me around. After 20 years working abroad, he returned with his girl-friend to his family home in Sicily. With love and an eye for detail they transformed the original old farmhouse into a comfortable guesthouse. In each room you will see something from the time when the farm was still active and there were still cows in the characteristic courtyard. The owner grew up on this farm and played as a child in the stables and the workers' homes, which have now been beautifully converted into rooms and apartments.

Seaview

There is a beautiful garden with a large variety of plants. Around the infinity pool, with a shallow area, there are sun loungers from which you have beautiful views of the sea. In about 20 minutes you walk through the fields to the sea, where you will find various beach bars, restaurants and nice sandy beaches. The owner knows the area well and because he speaks very good English, can give you tips on where to eat and what to see. The beautiful Baroque cities of Modica, Scicli, Noto and Ragusa Ibla and the nice coastal town of Marzamemi with its busy harbour are certainly worth a visit. 

Apartments and junior suite

The apartments of the agriturismo are located around the courtyard with its water well. They all have a table and chairs at the entrance, the large apartments (two-bedrooms) are divided over two floors and on the first floor they have a small balcony, so you can sit outside and enjoy the sea view. The monolocale (studio) apartments have a kitchenette with fridge and two hot plates. There is also a junior suite with kitchenette and double bedroom. All apartments are equipped with air-conditioning. They serve a full Italian breakfast, and given the warm temperatures in Sicily, this happens mostly on the terrace shaded by a pergola.

The agriturismo is especially suitable for couples, but children are still welcome. There are just no special facilities for children, such as a playground or children's pool and everyone is asked to respect the peace of the other guests.
