Child-friendly agriturismo centrally located in Tuscany

I know the proprietor and the hostess of this agriturismo, Irene, very well. We have cooperated very pleasantly for over seven years now. This is a child-friendly agriturismo situated in the central part of Tuscany. The farm produces olive oil, wine, cheese and meats. When the farm was renovated - a few years ago - the original structures of the authentic farm were preserved as much as possible. This has resulted in eight spacious and comfortable apartments set in a fantastic and authentically Tuscan setting. 

Swimming pool

In front of the agriturismo is a large swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols. The entire grounds of the agrituriso offer lots of space for children to run around, play football and play. There is a restaurant on the site. Once or twice a week, delicious meals are prepared here for the guests, if there is sufficient interest. A perfect occasion for getting to know the other guests of the agriturismo! Occasionally, the restaurant is used for private dinner parties for outside customers. You can also sign up for a cooking course (minimum 5 participants).

The apartements

The agriturismo has eight apartments, each with its own piece of the garden or a terrace, with table, chairs, and parasol. The apartments are spacious and light, and have a kitchen fitted with a gas stove with four burners, a fridge and a freezer. Some of the apartments have a dishwasher. There is a shared washing machine on the premises, and there is wifi.  At the pool, every apartment has its own area with a parasol, lounger and beach chairs.

Centrally located

The agriturismo is very centrally situated in one of the most beautiful parts of Tuscany. The popular Tuscan towns are within easy reach from the agriturismo. San Gimignano is 20 kms away, Volterra 25, Siena 30, and Florence 60. The nearest little town is Casola d'Elsa, 5 kms from the agriturismo. Here you can find restaurants, bars and shops, one of which is a supermarket. The seaside is 70 kms away, so a day at the beach is one of the possibilities too.

In short

This is a welcoming and very centrally located agriturismo with lots of room for children to play. If you like sight-seeing and want to discover Tuscany, this is the perfect agriturismo. The major Tuscan attractions can be reached in no time!
