Beautiful olive oil farm east of Siena

About 20 kilometres east of Siena – among the "Crete Senesi" (the sand hills around Siena) - is this lovely olive oil farm. The arrival is already a pleasure, among the olive trees of the fattoria. The agriturismo has a quiet location and is built in the typical architectural style of Tuscany, with large natural stones and wooden elements. The agriturismo has six apartments and four rooms spread over six houses. On the terrain is a small 15th century church which was restored in 2010 by the owners of the agriturismo. The property is in a good location for visiting cities such as Siena, Pienza and Montepulciano (35 km), Arezzo and Cortona (45 km), San Gimignano (75 km) and even Florence (100 km) in a day.

Pool and breakfast

In the well-kept garden of the agriturismo is a beautiful swimming-pool with a shallow part for children. Around the pool is a sun terrace with sun loungers and beach chairs. There is also a shared barbecue and a shared living-room with TV, games and toys for the little ones. In the shared living room is also a microwave, coffee machine and kettle. Useful for those who reserve a room but do not have a kitchen! Breakfast (included for those who book a room, and optional for those who book an apartment) is served on the large terrace overlooking the pool and the olive grove. If the weather is not so nice, breakfast will be served in the cosy breakfast room. Home-produced olive oil and some local wines and other products are sold at the reception. WiFi is available on the property.

Apartments and rooms

The six apartments and four rooms of the agriturismo all have air-conditioning and are attractively furnished in classic Tuscan style. The apartments consist of a living room with open kitchen, a bedroom with double bed and a smaller bedroom with a narrow double bed (a queen size bed). Some apartments also have an open loft, accessible from the living room, where there is a third bed. The apartments on the ground floor have their own table and chairs in the garden. The agriturismo also has four double rooms.
