Attractively situated country house with bistro

After a hectic lifestyle in Milan, the current owners of this country house decided to start a new life in the peace and quiet of the Marche countryside. After a long search, they found what they were looking for: an ancient farm on the top of a hill, in need of love and attention. They then spent ten years renovating its dwellings into this splendid holiday accommodation. 

Their Milanese background clearly influenced the design of this lovely country house, which has been lovingly and authentically restored using local materials. Inside, fresh and lively colours dominate the modern yet cosy rooms. The reception area exhibits paintings and photos by local artists.  

Swimming pool with a view

The first thing that struck me on arrival was the magnificent garden. In full flower, even at the end of a hot June. Just as the buildings do, the well-tended garden reflects the owners’ love of beautiful things and respect for nature. They’ve had a fantastic pool installed at the most panoramic spot on the estate. From the sun loungers that line it you get a wide view of the hills and fields. A maze of crops and meadows that change colour with the seasons: in June, green grass and yellow cereals. 

Breakfast on the terrace

In fine weather breakfast is served on a pergola-shaded terrace situated a few metres above the swimming pool. Here you can savour homemade cakes and yoghurt, honey and jam from local farmers and home-grown grilled veggies while enjoying the view. There’s no better start to the day!   

Bistro

The agriturismo’s Bistro opens two nights a week. On Wednesdays and Saturday. They prepare a mix of local specialties from Le Marche together with dishes from other Italian regions. Everything freshly made and of gourmet quality! The Bistro is also open every day for a light lunch.

The rooms and apartments

The agriturismo houses two apartments, a junior suite and five rooms. The two apartments are situated next to each other in a separate dwelling, each one with its own terrace and beautiful view. They are both situated at ground level, and have an open landing on the first floor (with a double bed). 

The junior suite is situated at ground level too, and has its own terrace with beautiful views and lots of privacy. 

The five rooms are all on the first floor of the main building, and do not have private outdoor seating areas. Guests can of course use the shared terrace downstairs. 

All the units are decorated in fresh, light colours and natural materials, and are provided with airco, wifi and satellite TV.
