Welcoming agriturismo in an olive grove and close to the beach

Walking through the garden of the agriturismo, among the olive trees, you find yourself in the Tuscan countryside, but in reality you are near the beach. A special combination! The agriturismo is located in the heart of the Maremma region, just a few kilometres from the coast and not far from the famous and charming medieval towns of Campiglia and Suvereto. Just two years ago, the owners converted this 18th century farmhouse into a small friendly agriturismo with six apartments. The olives that grow in the garden and around the pool are used to make their delicious olive oil. Within walking distance of the agriturismo you will find an open-air spa, including a restaurant, where guests get a small discount. Piombino, from where the boat leaves for the island of Elba, is just a half-hour drive away. A trip to the amazing island of Elba is highly recommended for an exciting day out!

Pool and barbecue 

The first thing you'll notice when you enter the grounds of the agriturismo is a venerable old olive tree. Around cushions are scattered so you can sit and relax in the shade of the huge tree. In the beautiful garden of the agriturismo there is also a nicely designed, but not very big pool. It's lovely to sunbathe or read a book in the pool area or to cool down in the pool on a hot summer’s day.  Those who really want to swim should make for the sea or the nearby spa. In the garden there is also a communal barbecue for the guests of the agriturismo.

The apartments 

There are six apartments, four on the ground floor and two on the first floor. All apartments have a living room with open kitchen and sofa bed, a bedroom with double bed and a bathroom. Each apartment has a private terrace with table, chairs, umbrella or pergola. The apartments have air conditioning, wifi, kettle, Nespresso machine, TV and safe. The apartments are modern, but nicely furnished.

In short

It is not often that you can stay near the sea in such a peaceful and beautiful rural setting, but this agriturismo offers that opportunity. A wonderful place for a relaxing week near the beach!
